Pratt Institute MFA graduate Lilian Broca is a Vancouver visual artist who, for 20 years, worked with paint, graphite and ink. In 2002 she discovered Venetian glass and mosaics and hasn’t looked back since.
In a globally influenced, culturally diverse and technologically advancing world, contemporary art reflects the ever-changing landscape of identity, values and beliefs. In the 21st century, mosaics resonate with a certain contemporary Zeitgeist.
